Our Technical Center in Kraków is the largest R&D facility in Aptiv globally with more than 2,000 engineers contributing on a daily base towards safer, greener and more connected mobility solutions, often, together with almost all global vehicle manufacturers. We, Aptiv’s Global Development Center for Radar Perception Software, are now looking for new members to join our fascinating journey towards more trustworthy software enabling different levels of ADAS/AD solutions in Kraków.
Our department is responsible for development of radar perception software end-to-end, e.g., processing data received from sensors, generating object data and estimating other important information in surrounding environment. Our customers, as well as our internal stakeholders, then use our output to develop feature functions such as Autonomous Emergency Braking (AEB), Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) and various levels of automated driving functionality.
Your Role:
We are looking for talented and experienced Algorithm Developers specialized in perception software development.
You will join our Radar Perception Division full of ambitious and highly competent developers at our site in Kraków.
Your daily tasks include:
Working in one of the Scrum teams on perception algorithms developmentEvaluation and evolution of our market-leading perception software solutionsInvestigation and adaptation of latest development in technology and methodology into our solution stackDevelopment and integration of algorithms in C++ and PythonQuality assurance via design, requirement and comprehensive verification and validation according to Aptiv process and industry standardsContinuous improvement of supporting factors, e.g., simulation tools and testing environmentTroubleshooting and issue resolution for ongoing programs and projectsInteraction with system & testing teams, customers and project management
Your Background:
Minimum 1 year of ADAS/AD algorithm development experience.Minimum 1 year experience on AI/ML, ideally in ADAS/AD domain.Hands-on experiences with popular deep learning frameworks, e.g., PyTorch and TensorFlow.Proven records with design and realization of neural networks.Good understanding in radar perception software, radar signal processing and/or statistics.Solid understanding of ADAS feature functions, scenario-based evaluation and testing of ADAS algorithm.Good experience in C/C++ programming, MATLAB and/or PythonStrong problem solving skills and ability to learn.Excellent communication, team work & social skills, goal-oriented and structured way of working.Fluent in English written and verbally.
