Skipper NDT is a deeptech startup have developped and deploying a patented drone-based technology for predictive maintenance of buried pipelines. Our goal? Help energy players manage their infrastructure more efficiently, safely, and sustainably. Our clients are energy majors in Europe and North America.
We are looking to hore an Algorithm Engineer with a strong mathematical background and proven experience in algorithm development and optimization to join our growing R&D team.

易 Your RoleAs an Algorithm Engineer, you will be at the heart of our R&D efforts: designing and refining algorithms that power our smart detection systems. You will work closely with experts in data science, geophysics, and embedded systems.Your main responsibilities:Develop, optimize, and implement algorithms (Deep learning, Numerical computation, Signal processing)Work on deep learning models for geomagnetic data analysis (e.g. U-Net++)Improve algorithm performance for speed and accuracyPreprocess data, perform feature engineering, and train modelsInnovate in geomagnetic inversion techniquesContribute to technical documentation and internal researchTake part in team discussions and bring forward new ideas
✅ What We’re Looking ForStrong background in mathematics and algorithm designExperience with machine learning or deep learning frameworks (e.g. PyTorch, TensorFlow)Solid skills in Python (or equivalent)Familiarity with geomagnetic data, signal processing, or geophysics is a big plusTeam player, proactive, curious, and rigorous
