Application Engineer
Job Description:As an Application Specialist, you provide customers with the best possible solutions over the phone in the area of our Pressure Relief offerings.Since each project is different, it is important to always gather the right information. You do this by engaging in conversations with your customers, asking the right questions, and identifying their needs.You prepare quotations and pass the file on internally.Afterwards, you remain available by phone for any technical questions from the customer.Finally, you stay continuously updated on the latest products, applications, services, pricing, and procedures to ensure your service remains optimal.
Profile:You hold a technical degree (preferably a Bachelor’s in (electro)mechanics, chemistry, etc.) or have equivalent experience.A technical affinity is a must, as well as a willingness to learn and grow in your job.You are a team player but also take initiative easily.A customer-oriented attitude and strong communication skills are necessary to assist your customers as effectively as possible.Good knowledge of Dutch and English, both written and spoken. Knowledge of French is a plus.A dynamic and changing environment does not intimidate you, whether it is a change in the sector or in the systems used.You always manage to stay calm, even in situations with many deadlines.Lastly, you are very precise. Your work revolves around safety, which is governed by strict regulations.
