Your mission
As an Applications Engineer, you play the key role for the metrology team and your main responsabilities are:Maintain, repair, and optimize the process equipment to the correct health and safety standards in a cleanroom.Improve efficiency and reduce the cost of maintaining by way of improvement projects.Act as the primary point of contact for any technically related questions concerning the processing tools and provide troubleshooting solutions.Support and follow-up the installation of new process equipment and guarantee the technical warehouse has enough resources.Collaborate closely with the equipment manufacturers and fellow colleagues.Willing to work in a shift system (alternating between an early/late shift and one weekend out of three).
Your experience
Master’s degree in Industrial Science (Mechatronics (Electromechanics)/Mechanics/Electronics/ICT) or equivalent through technical experience.Technical knowledge of pneumatics, pumps, motors, electronics and (electro)mechanics.First hand experience is a plus.Team player but not afraid to work autonomously and take initiative to get things done.Fluent in English. Dutch is a plus
