Role responsibilities include innovating data strategies to gather and refine human and synthetic data, crafting evaluations aligned with the mission to develop AI systems that understand the universe and create new knowledge, designing and implementing novel algorithms and models for complex real-world applications, and collaborating with product teams to integrate cutting-edge technologies into Grok and its API to enhance user interactions. Ideal candidates will train, evaluate, and improve core Grok capabilities while addressing product issues by integrating research techniques to maximize truthfulness and helpfulness of AI systems. Tech stack includes Python and JAX. The interview process involves an initial CV and statement review, a 15-minute phone interview, followed by four technical interviews including coding assessment, applied technical sessions, and a presentation of past work and vision.
