About the Role
Trunk Tools is seeking a Full Stack Engineer to build and scale mission-critical software products for the construction industry. You will play a key role in developing and enhancing our AI-driven platforms, ensuring robust system architecture, and contributing to product strategy. This position offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, early-stage startup environment where your contributions will have a direct impact on the future of construction automation.
Location: Remote US or NYC, Austin
Key Responsibilities
Develop and enhance product features for TrunkText (Construction Document Guide) and TrunkPerform (Incentive Management Tool).Scale backend systems to support a rapidly growing user base.Ensure reliability by building bug-free, user-friendly applications.Contribute to product strategy discussions, providing innovative insights.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management and design.
Requirements
4-6 years of experience in full-stack development.Proficiency in TypeScript.Experience with backend development (Node + Express).Experience with frontend development (React).Strong experience in architecting systems and data schema modeling.Comfortable working with both relational and non-relational databases.Prior experience shipping production-ready products to users.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.Solution-oriented mindset with high-level programming expertise.

Compensation: $121,000 – $148,000 / Year
