Project Scope: The role involves providing technical leadership and expertise in developing and supporting cloud-based applications, focusing on implementing and evolving digital solutions in a highly collaborative, cross-functional environment. You will work with global teams to deliver scalable, reliable, and secure systems.
Responsibilities:Lead and guide the development team to achieve project goalsParticipate in business process analysis, requirements gathering, and use case creationDesign, prototype, develop, and unit test software solutions for both new projects and maintenance releasesCreate and maintain system interface diagrams, sequence diagrams, technical specifications, testing scenarios, and support documentationEnsure technical compliance by following best practices and standardsAdhere to high-quality software development practices (e.g., Agile, Waterfall)Manage multiple priorities and work effectively across teams in various time zonesContribute to the completion of assigned tasks with accountabilityCollaborate in assigned projects, ensuring smooth execution
Requirements:5+ years of experience designing and developing cloud-native applications on AWS5+ years of experience applying industry best practices and design patterns in software developmentExpertise in AWS services, including S3, DynamoDB, RDS, Lambda, Fargate, API Gateway, ECS, EKS, IAM roles, federated identity, SSO, MFA, AppStream 2.0, Terraform, CloudFormation, multi-account deployments, and governanceProven experience in building scalable distributed systems and implementing Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA), microservices, and API-first designStrong knowledge of integration technologies such as REST, GraphQL, JSON, and messaging protocolsExperience with Git version control and CI/CD pipeline managementExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to lead and coordinate agile development teams, both onshore and offshoreAWS certifications such as Solution Architect, SysOps Admin, or Developer
Nice to Have:Experience with Headless CMS implementations (e.g., Storyblok, WP Engine Headless)Experience working in fast-paced environments with a customer-centric approachFamiliarity with the BioTech/Pharmaceutical industry is a plusBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
