We’re currently partnered with a scaling Series A FinTech who are currently looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to join their team as they build a new product within the payments industry.
The business has had significant growth this year already with recent investment and they are now looking to build new products to revolutionize the payments industry.
As a Senior Engineer, you’ll be joining a team who are responsible for developing a payment product that will have a global impact and this role requires a high level of autonomy and problem solving abilities.
What will you be doing:
Develop and design robust & scalable payment applications and servicesMaintain and build APIs and microservices architecture for payment systemsImplement secure payment protocolsSupport the team in developing real-time transactions processing Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver feature requirementsMaintain and write clean and well-tested code following best practices Get involved in code reviews and maintain high code quality standardsContribute to system architecture and technical design decisions
What are they looking for:
Software development experience preferably in backend systems – current tech stack is Golang and they are open to other backend technologies Experience building RESTful APIsGood understanding of database design and optimizationKnowledge of distributed systems concepts and patterns Good engineering principles include unit, integration and end-to-end testing
