Job Overview
Intro:
Our team at Madvision is seeking an experienced Backend and Python Engineer who is proficient with Supabase. The first milestone will be to enhance our scripts and processes for converting any long-form video into short-form clips (1 to 3 minutes long).
We’re extracting the most insightful portions of these long form videos, and looking to automate this process further so we can expand our content library to 100,000+ clips and beyond.
Key Tasks & Deliverables:
Improve, optimize our existing scripts for video processing & clipping.Move our localized process to a server (like Render) so we can automate it in the cloud.Improve + fix scripts that automate uploading of clips and videos to Supabase. Along with improving our scripts that automate the details + ai-generated context for each clip stored in Supabase.Improving & further automating our scraping of external videos.Ensure high-quality output of video clips.(Optional) Nice to have: experience working with algorithms. especially related to consumer/content algorithms.(Optional) After the success of this project…work with the team to improve our LLM-driven algorithm for video content.
