About The Role

In Money Fellows, as a Backend Engineer, you should maintain the delivery and quality behind the scenes. Supporting the backend team all the way through Architect, Design, Develop, Integrate and Tune across different platforms, tools and technologies.

Requirements

Key responsibilities include:

Develop, maintain, and optimize robust and scalable APIs, Microservices and DatabaseEngage with Tech/Non-tech teams to analyze featuresHelp building DevOps containerization / orchestration strategy with the DevOps teamProfile, tune, scale and optimize execution of existing queries and functionsPerform and monitor code reviews, unit testing, test automation and CIInvestigate and research new frameworks, services and toolsUtilize minimal resources to deliver maximum outputsBasic Infrastructure and cloud services deployment and maintenanceEngage with Front-end and UX team members to deliver features

About You

The ideal candidate has exceptionally high ownership, excellent critical thinking skills and the ability to work with agility in a fast-paced environment. They would also be insanely focused on demonstrating excellence in service delivery and problem-solving, breaking down complex information into understandable and actionable items. You will be an active and contributory member in People team, with a direct impact on the culture and business trajectory in your country.

Other qualifications include:

Minimum 2 years of experience in .NET development or other OOPIn-depth experience with the following:Source code control tools like GitHub and scaffolding tools like EF.CoreCI/CD, Cloud Providers (AWS or Azure), API SecurityDatabase profiling and optimization for both RDBMS & NoSQLMicroservices and modular architecture3rd party integrations

A plus:

Experience with:A/B Testing and Serverless concepts/toolsPlatform monitoring tools and fraud detectionServerless architectureMessage Brokers and QueuesCode scanners and inspectors (ex. SonarQube)
