We are looking for a skilled BI Specialist to help us leverage the power of Looker Studio and BigQuery to bring clarity and actionable insights to our educational partners. As a BI Specialist at Parsec Education, you will play a key role in developing and managing data visualization tools and strategies to support educators in achieving their goals. You will work with large datasets in BigQuery, creating interactive dashboards in Looker Studio that simplify data exploration for our clients. By collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will ensure our tools and insights meet the dynamic needs of the education sector.
Key ResponsibilitiesDashboard Development:Design, build, and maintain interactive dashboards in Looker Studio tailored for educational data and analytics.Implement visualization best practices to enhance usability and client satisfaction.Data Integration and Modeling:Use BigQuery to design and optimize queries for large educational datasets.Develop efficient data models to support analytics and reporting.Stakeholder Collaboration:Work with internal teams and external clients to understand their data needs and translate them into actionable insights.Present findings and recommendations in a clear, concise manner for both technical and non-technical audiences.Performance Optimization:Monitor and enhance query and dashboard performance to ensure fast and reliable results.Identify and resolve issues related to data quality or inconsistencies.Documentation and Training:Document processes, dashboards, and best practices for internal and external use.Provide training to team members and clients on using Looker Studio effectively.
Required QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field.Expertise in Looker Studio and BigQuery, including creating and optimizing dashboards and writing advanced SQL queries.Experience in data modeling, ETL processes, and managing data pipelines.Strong understanding of data visualization principles and BI best practices.Excellent communication skills to convey complex data insights to a variety of audiences.
Preferred QualificationsExperience working with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services.Familiarity with APIs for data integration.Knowledge of other BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).Previous experience in the education sector or working with educational data.

The expected range of pay for this position is $70,000 – $120,000. Salary ranges are dependent on a variety of factors, including qualifications and experience. Range is not inclusive of potential bonus or benefits. Our Hiring Manager can share more information about the salary range specific to your working location and other factors during the hiring process.
