Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated FRTB Business Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial data related to trading and banking activities, particularly in the context of the Fundamental Review of the Trading Book (FRTB) framework. You will focus on process improvement, simplification, and drive the enhancement of the technology tools available to users. Your expertise will contribute to optimizing our regulatory reporting, risk management processes, and ensuring compliance with evolving market risk regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Perform daily P&L reconciliation and reporting for assigned trading desks or products.Collaborate with trading desks, risk managers, and finance teams to resolve any discrepancies or issues in a timely manner.Providing project analysis covering data, process mapping and benefit validation and documentationGathering business requirements, defining scope of delivery and tracking progress of milestonesSupport team with working knowledge of the Markets productWork closely with local product control team and assess impact of change requirements on day-to-day activitiesEffective support of the project, ensuring clearly documented processesConducting testing phases of Finance Systems with Finance Change and Product Control teams, gathering sign-offs, post go-live related workAssist in the implementation and enhancement of control processes and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.Provide support for ad-hoc projects and initiatives, including system enhancements and process improvements

Key Skills & Qualifications

Prior working knowledge of Global Banking and MarketsExperience as Business AnalystStrong analytical skills, problem solving and attention to detailA good understanding of Project LifecycleExperienced in Microsoft Office – Excel, Word, AccessStrong understanding of financial products, trading activities, and market dynamics.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and quality.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.Self-motivated with a proven rapid learning capability in a changing environment‘Can do’ attitude – willing to turn a hand to whatever task is required and support the team
