The Business Analyst – RtR performs a role in providing a seamless relationship between Technology and the Finance business function. Acting as a ‘trusted advisor and bringing to bear a combination of strong business understanding and technology, they will work with international Finance teams across TwiningsOvo to improve functional processes and systems and solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Build a sound understanding of the Finance function, understanding trends, risks and opportunities and visibility of how other businesses are using SAP technology for competitive advantage (monitor industry, functional, and technology trends).
Identify and accurately document business requirements.
Organise and facilitate requirements gathering and prioritisation sessions, document outputs and follow up on actions and queries.
Collaborate with key stakeholders across the business and technology teams- ensuring they are consistent with the overall business and IT strategy. This may include the evaluation of 3rd party solutions.
Accurately measure the contribution of IT projects to business value. Track results of the solutions provided.
Business partners communicate the solution value to key stakeholders.
Deliver solutions that support architectural plans, obtaining input from the Enterprise Architecture capability.
Enhance SAP User Experience of Finance solutions, by developing deep user understanding of business, solutions, technology and enhance improvements.
Support test activities by ensuring acceptance criteria are well documented and have the appropriate level of coverage, taking responsibility for the design and implementation of test cases where appropriate.
Acting as the bridge between internal and external Technology service providers and the SAP business users where appropriate, owning to resolution (coach employees to make use of technology and information).

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

At least 5 years of experience in similar Business Analyst role.
Practical experience with SAP: S/4 HANA or ECC (especially for RtR, AP and AR ).
Degree in Finance.
Verbal and written communication and facilitation skills.
Able to build solid relationships with key stakeholders in order to truly understand the underlying needs of the business.
Problem-solving and product management skills, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer / business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements.
Experience of working with teams in multiple locations, and remotely.
Ability to support existing IT applications – fault-finding, analysis and recommending appropriate corrective actions.
