Are you an experienced Business Analyst with a passion for data-driven projects? Do you want to play a key role in modernizing technology within the public sector? We’re looking for a talented Cloud Platform Business Analyst to join an exciting programme aimed at transforming legacy systems and building foundational cloud infrastructure within the AWS platform.This role provides a fantastic opportunity to collaborate with stakeholders and technical teams throughout the Cloud Data Warehouse project lifecycle, ensuring that solutions meet business goals and compliance regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Gather and document project requirements, including data quality and retention rules.Work closely with stakeholders to define the goals and priorities of data mirroring and ETL processes.Translate business requirements into actionable technical specifications for the team.Ensure that the solution aligns with business objectives and addresses compliance concerns.Communicate progress and gather feedback throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, IT, or a related field.3+ years of experience in business analysis within data-focused projects.Strong skills in requirements gathering, documentation, and stakeholder communication.Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and cloud platforms, especially AWS.Ability to bridge the gap between technical and business teams.
Desirable Qualifications:
Experience with ETL processes and data quality standards.Knowledge of regulatory frameworks related to data compliance.Proficiency in tools like JIRA, Confluence, and Visio.
