Job description & Key Responsibilities:
We are looking for an accomplished Business Developer Manager, based in Madrid, to lead the international expansion to Portugal.
Understanding the market, identifying business opportunities, closing meetings & signing on new contracts with clients (FMCG brands), assisting your team in alignment, and achieving their goals in the most efficient way possible.Proactively identify opportunities for improvement for the sales process and sales team members’ development while working closely with the team to implement best practices.Assistance in lead generation and preparation of proposals to acquire new clients,Work hand by hand with the top management in our countries to design and implement their new commercial strategy.Work transversally with countries to develop new sales channels and strategic alliances.Actively monitor portfolio companies KPIs.
Proactively participate in other ad-hoc projects that help the companies achieve a fast growth rate.
Skills we look for in this role in particular:+3 years of experience in Sales (ideally in fast moving companies).Proven sales track record of closing deals and effective account management.Deep understanding of tools and techniques that maximize data quality and process consistency throughout the pipeline and forecasting process to ensure accurate forecasts.Languages: excellent communication skills in Portuguese. Spanish is a plus. Not afraid to take on new challenges.Extraordinary attention to detail.Problem-solver, self-starter who can be up and running in no time after thorough company onboarding.
