We are seeking an experienced Business Development Associate to join our team at a global professional services firm who helps manufacturing companies drive growth. In this role, you will work closely with our Sales, Marketing, and Executive teams to support business development initiatives, create high-quality client-facing materials, and ensure smooth coordination of sales campaigns and events. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who excels in strategic execution of business development programs in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales and Executive Team SupportCollaborate with Sales and Executive teams to develop compelling Executive Overview Presentations, Proposals, and Responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs).Conduct industry and prospect research industry to understand the business landscape and specific challenges prospects are facing toward success.Ensure that all sales materials are polished, consistent, and tailored to specific client needs and objectives.
Business Development and Sales Enablement SupportIdentify, develop, and execute strategic and targeted sales campaigns using personalized communication and outreach. Campaigns include: Strategic Account development, Account Based Marketing, 1-1 Targeted Campaigns, Existing Client Expansion.Support the planning, management and success of business development events, including both online and in-person conferences, webinars, and industry gatherings. Track sales leads and measure campaign effectiveness, providing insights to improve future initiatives.Work with team members to effectively execute campaigns depending on the needs of the campaign.Help develop and monitor KPIs for lead and opportunity conversions.
Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration3-5 years of experience in sales support, business development, or related role.Experience creating professional presentations, proposals, and RFP responses.Experience planning and managing events, both virtual and in-person.Excellent communication, writing, and editing skills.Strong attention to detail, creative mindset and a critical thinker who can work independently with little oversight.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.Experience in business development within a professional services organization a plus.
Preferred Skills:Experience with CRMs (Salesforce.com preferred) and how to run reports and campaigns.Experienced with PowerBI to run sales reports and analysis of sales data.Knowledge of industry best practices in business development and sales enablement.Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, and Executive teams.
