Position SummaryThe primary role of the Business Operations Administrator is to support the financial and procurement operations to ensure efficiency and accuracy across the organization. This role involves processing purchase orders, reconciling financial transactions, and supporting operational processes. Our core values are the backbone of our business and guide our hiring process: we are committed, trustworthy, disciplined, accountable, transparent, resilient, and intentional.Performance ObjectivesProcess and manage vendor invoices, purchase orders, and expense reports with accuracy and timeliness.Create, issue, confirm, and revise purchase orders to approved suppliers while ensuring alignment with company requirements.Monitor and follow up on shipping commitments for purchase orders, ensuring customer delivery expectations are met.Collaborate with the sales team to expedite the arrival of products as needed.Analyze and resolve price discrepancies, delivery delays, and other operational challenges.Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and procurement documentation in the ERP system.Coordinate and plan the shipping and freight logistics of incoming orders, ensuring cost-effectiveness and timeliness.Support monthly financial reporting by providing accurate data and identifying trends.Identify and implement process improvements to enhance financial and procurement operations.Key CompetenciesProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook) and ERP systems.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Exceptional communication and negotiation abilities.High level of organization and attention to detail.Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines.Collaborative mindset with the ability to work cross-functionally.Education and ExperienceAssociate’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Supply Chain, or equivalent experience preferred.Minimum of 1 year of experience in accounting, purchasing, data entry or related business operations roles.Experience with financial software and procurement platformsPhysical RequirementsProlonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential requirements.Commitment to DiversityAs an equal opportunity employer committed to meeting the needs of a multigenerational and multicultural workforce, TRC Electronics recognizes that a diverse staff, reflective of our community, is an integral and welcome part of a successful and ethical business.
