Salary – £70,000-£80,000 p/a

The Role

Leo Technology are incredibly excited to be collaborating with one of London’s most exciting start-ups in their search for
a Backend Engineer! Founded in 2018 with a mission to make it easier for students to earn money on the side of their studies, they’ve now grown to over 250 staff and have helped over a quarter of a million students into
work!

Due to incredible and ongoing organic growth, they’re urgently looking for a talented Backend Developer to join the team. We’re looking for an Engineer with experience working with Python who truly values
development best practices and is experienced working in a fast-paced startup / scale-up environment. This role will have a focus on technical excellence, whilst also prioritising the agility needed to continue driving the
companies growth – It’s an incredibly exciting time to join!

While this role will likely start with the successful candidate working on a single code-base, in the long run you’ll be expected to contribute
to all areas of their tech-stack. You’ll be responsible for maintaining and monitoring their existing product to ensure customers continue to receive the experience the signed up for. Excitingly though, as the business
and their client-base continues to expand, there will be multiple opportunities to get involved in new product releases!

The Person

4+ years experience working as a Python Developer is essentialExposure to Flutter / Dart is highly desirableExperience working with Kubernetes, GraphQL, and DjangoExcellent communication skillsPrevious
experience working in a fast-paced start-up is highly desirableProduct driven thinkingAble to work a minimum of 4 days per week in Camden offices
