Growth Team at Capital on TapThis role is part of the Growth Team at Capital on Tap, focused on driving customer acquisition, increasing profitability, and ensuring efficiency.
This is a Hybrid role, the Growth teamwork from our London (Shoreditch) Offices 3 days per week. Occasional travel to our Brighton and Manchester offices (~1x/month) will be required.
The RoleWe’re seeking a Commercial Analyst to drive our rapid growth by identifying and executing exciting commercial opportunities. This autonomous, fast-paced role will initially focus on building a world-class Sales function, our fastest-growing acquisition channel and a top company priority.
What You’ll Be Doing You’ll be the primary analyst for the Sales team, conducting analysis, shaping strategy, and executing operational initiatives. Reporting to the Lead Commercial Analyst, you’ll collaborate closely with C-Suite leadership, as well as Sales teams across London, Brighton, and Manchester.
As you grow in the role, you’ll have opportunities to apply your skills across other areas of the business, maximizing impact where it matters most. Your work will include the following:
Analysing and ideating opportunities to increase productivity and reduce costs in our Sales operationUncovering process improvements and owning their development and implementationSpending time with our Sales team to understand their pain pointsWorking closely with our data and reporting, potentially building your own datasets to support analytical requirementsAdvising on strategic and commercial decisions
We’re Looking For Required skills:2-5 years of experience working at a top-tier management consultancy or in a fast-paced start-up is preferred2.1 undergraduate degree or above from a top university, preferably in a quantitative subjectExceptional analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to cast business problems as analytical questionsAbility to communicate clearly and concisely to a variety of stakeholders, including senior managementExperience working with data and strong Excel skillsWillingness to “get your hands dirty” and learn how to build, analyse, and maintain complex datasetsAn action-oriented, self-starterAn interest in Sales and what it takes to build a world-class Sales functionWillingness to learn and experiment with a variety of relevant data and tech tools at an accelerated rateNice to have skills:In this role, you’ll be expected to use SQL, DBT, Snowflake, Looker, and Hubspot, so any previous experience with these tools would be a bonusPrevious experience working within GTM motions, Sales, or Revenue operations would also be a plus
