POSITION SUMMARY:
The Manager, EPC Contracts position will plan, organize, coordinate, evaluate, review and process Engineering-Procurement-Construction (EPC) contracts, Limited Notice to Proceeds, MSA’s, formal bids, requests for qualifications, and support (from an EPC Contracts perspective) requests for proposals. This position will have supervisory responsibilities for the Contracts Analyst II, Senior Analyst, and Contracts Supervisor positions. This position will administer policies and procedures for all contracts in compliance with company and customer expectations. This position is responsible for the management of EPC contracts inclusive of all contracts exhibits while maintaining a centralized contracts repository system.

PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:• Oversee the daily workflow of the department including the administration, consulting, and/or negotiating of contracts.• Partner with department Directors to develop contract strategies in alignment with business development goals and objectives.• Improve the structure of proposals/contracts/bid documents as they relate to EPC contracts in partnership with sales, business development, pre-construction and legal.• Ensure contracts are negotiated in accordance with business objectives and engages in contract amendments and renegotiation to accommodate scope changes.• Provide expertise in identifying potential contractual problems or conflicts and analyzing impacts/ramifications.• Ensure fulfillment of contractual obligations from contracting parties.• Ensure timely development and execution of Limited Notice to Proceed (LNTP) or Early Works documents between the organization and contracting counter parties to support project schedule needs.• Ensure timely execution of LNTP or early work documents between the organization and key subcontractors to facilitate timely execution of work.• Provide constructive and timely performance evaluations of direct reports.• Coach and mentor employees to meet standards for their positions.• Identify, recommend, and implement new processes, technology, and systems to improve and streamline contract processes and use of resources and materials.• Ensure that departmental decisions and project plans such as those for staffing, development, organization, and efficiency are in line with the organization’s business plan and vision.• Establish, communicate, and implement contracts-related policies, practices, standards, and security measures to ensure effective and consistent support and execution.• Present periodic performance reports and metrics to contract team leadership.• Maintain knowledge of emerging technologies and trends in contract negotiations.• Identify training needs and ensuring proper training is developed and provided.• Perform other related duties as assigned.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:• Bachelor’s degree in business administration or equivalent.• 10+ years of experience under an EPC model• 5+ years of experience in EPC Contracts.
PREFERRED SKILLS/ABILITIES:Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Experience in managing and leading a team.Extensive knowledge of the principles, procedures, and best practices in the industry.Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.Analytical and problem-solving skills.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.Commercial experience in the construction industry.
