As they expand, they are seeking Software Engineers to join their team in Los Angeles in a hybrid capacity, with in-office collaboration on Fridays.Role SummaryWe are looking for a highly skilled Software Engineer to help
build and optimize advanced search algorithms, large-scale indexing systems, and AI-powered ranking models. This role involves designing and developing innovative solutions to improve search speed, relevance, and user experience.
The position may require occasional travel for team collaboration and project execution.Core ResponsibilitiesSearch Technology Development: Design and build scalable search infrastructure, ranking models, and indexing pipelines.Machine
Learning & AI Integration: Work with data scientists to implement AI-driven enhancements for personalized search results.Full-Stack Engineering: Develop backend services, APIs, and frontend interfaces that power search
experiences.Code Optimization: Improve performance, scalability, and efficiency of search algorithms.Cross-Team Collaboration: Work with product, UX, and data science teams to develop and refine features.Testing & Quality
Assurance: Implement automated testing, monitoring, and debugging processes.Security & Compliance: Ensure all search-related systems adhere to industry best practices.Skills and QualificationsRequired:Education: Bachelor’s
or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.Experience: Minimum 3 years in software engineering, preferably in search, AI, or large-scale distributed systems.Technical Proficiency:Search
Technologies: Experience with Elasticsearch, Solr, or custom-built search platforms.Backend: Proficiency in Python, Java, Go, or Node.js.Cloud & Infrastructure: Experience with AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.Databases:
Strong knowledge of SQL, NoSQL, and data indexing strategies.Machine Learning Integration: Experience with TensorFlow, PyTorch, or other ML frameworks is a plus.Version Control & CI/CD: Proficiency with Git, Kubernetes,
and CI/CD pipelines.Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to optimize search algorithms.Collaboration: Ability to work across teams and communicate technical concepts clearly.Preferred:Experience in
natural language processing (NLP) and AI-driven search technologies.Strong understanding of search ranking, relevance, and personalization algorithms.Familiarity with distributed systems, large-scale data processing, and
