Adamant Health is a Finnish healthcare technology start-up and spin-off from the University of Eastern Finland. Our mission is to help people with Parkinson’s disease and other movement disorders by bringing new data driven treatment practices into the way people are treated and medicated. Adamant Health stands out from the competition with its unique technology based on extensive academic research and medical device status (CE marked). The company was founded in August 2020 and has 15 professionals working in Helsinki, Kuopio, Oulu, Tampere and Turku regions.
Adamant Health is growing and entering a new phase in its journey, and we are now looking for a person to work as a data analyst and scientist for the company. In this role you will analyse the data measured from the patient with our leading measurement and analysis service and create symptom reports used by our customers. Another key task is to further develop our service, the advanced algorithms used and work closely together with our Chief Scientist and co-founder Saara Rissanen, PhD and Docent. We are looking for a person who is enthusiastic about learning and growing into the role for those aspects which still may be new for you. As part of the team, you will have a unique opportunity to build the number one company in providing data driven Parkinson’s treatment.
You will succeed in this position with prior experience in signal processing and analysis preferably related to human neurophysiology. You have expertise in algorithm development and experience in programming with Matlab. You are good in documenting and communicating your work results in English. Prior experience related to movement disorders, machine learning, utilising AI in data analysis, familiarity with medical device development and co-writing scientific articles are considered as a plus.
Key responsibilities of the role include: Performing data analysis on neurophysiological, motion and patient reported outcome data and produce analysis results and reports for customers. Participate in further development of the algorithms and data analysis automation. Support customer cases and projects Participate in clinical and case study project planning and execution

To be successful in this role you have: Master’s degree or close to graduate in relevant topics such as medical physics, medical engineering, or medical technology. Relevant work experience with biosignal analysis is considered a plus Prior experience with algorithm development and data analysis using Matlab is mandatory and with Python is considered a plusPrior experience with Atlassian (Jira & Confluence) tools is considered a plus. Genuine interest to work in a healthcare start-up. Motivated to ramp-up new and succeed in a job with wide range of responsibilities and ambition to learn continuously. Professional in English, as the main working language. Finnish and German considered a plus. Ability to work independently as well as in a team, combined with good communication and social skills.
