Summary
The Software Engineer is responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing EDI transmission scripts, e-commerce platforms, and AWS-based DevOps
solutions. This role involves collaborating with offshore teams, analyzing system performance, and implementing enhancements to drive efficiency and platform stability. With expertise in Python, PowerShell, Unix commands,
and Java Spring Boot, the Software Engineer plays a key role in executing system upgrades, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring seamless operations. This position requires strong problem-solving skills, a proactive approach
to innovation, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
Develop, maintain, and optimize EDI transmission scripts.Manage e-commerce platform requirements, including feature design, testing, and implementation.Lead and execute AWS-based DevOps tasks, including cost optimization
and pipeline reconstruction.Collaborate with offshore teams to ensure effective communication and project delivery.Independently develop and implement system upgrades, such as C&S EDI enhancements and Intranet updates.Create
and maintain scripts for POS switch LOC, SAP IDOC, and efficiency projects.Analyze and resolve bugs, contributing to platform stability and performance.Design and document processes for new features, such as shopping-type
functionalities.Work on search enhancements, promotion type additions, and other platform improvements.Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.3+ years of software development experience, preferably in e-commerce, retail, or logistics industries.Proficiency
in Python, PowerShell, and Unix commands for scripting and automation.Strong hands-on experience with Microservices and Java Spring Boot development.Hands-on expertise in AWS platforms and DevOps practices, experience in
cost optimization and pipeline reconstruction is preferred..Experience working with POS systems, SAP IDOC, and LOC efficiency projects is preferred.Familiarity with e-commerce platforms search enhancements and promotion
management.Proven ability to manage e-commerce platforms, handling feature design, testing, and implementation.Experience developing and maintaining EDI transmission scripts and system upgrades.Strong analytical and problem-solving
skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and optimize system performance.Excellent communication and collaboration skills, particularly in working with offshore teams.Self-motivated and capable of independently handling
complex projects in a fast-paced environment.Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Physical Requirements
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.This job may require standing or walking for extended periods of time, lifting up to 25 pounds, and performing repetitive motions.

Compensation
The pay range for this job starts at $70,000 – $80,000 per year. This is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer
