Title: Data Analyst/Analytics

Location: Mountain View CA/San Diego CA

Pay rate: $90.00 – $95.00 /hour DOE

Duration: 7+ Months (Possibility of extension)

Required Skills:

Performs business analysis using various techniques, e.g. statistical analysis, explanatory and predictive modeling, data mining.Determines best practices and develops actionable insights and recommendations for the current business operations.Works directly with the internal or external client to identify analytical requirements.May help to produce ad hoc data and reports.May assist in implementing or developing systems to capture business operation information.May occasionally guide less experienced business data analysts.

Desired Skills:

Advanced Proficiency with SQL to perform data acquisition, analysis, segmentation, and aggregation from scratch from existing data sourcesExperience with BI/visualization packages such as Tableau, Qliksense, Qlikview, Excel, Google SheetsProficiency in using spreadsheets (Excel, GSheets) to build business decision models and scenario planning calculatorsAbility to pull and manipulate data including building ETL/data pipelines to support analytics use cases with advanced SQL and data warehousing knowledgeStrong track record of performing data analysis and modeling using Python (for its rich suite of statistical and modeling libraries like numpy, pandas, scikit-learn, etc.) and SQLQuick learner, adaptable, with the ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environmentExperience using statistics and machine learning to solve complex business problems within go-to-market and marketing areas, e.g., propensity for feature adoption, customer health scoring to identify customers at risk to cancel, next best action models etc.Familiarity with Linux/OS X command line, version control software (git), and general software development

Experience Preferred

Experience in a Data analytics environment.

Education Required

Has done At least Bachelor in CS.

Education Preferred

Master’s degree in CS.
