What You Will Be Doing
The Data Conversion Analyst is an individual contributor with proven capability to convert structured and unstructured data from one system to a format and template to be imported into another system. The target system will be Epicor Kinetic ERP and will utilize Epicor’s DMT process.
Responsibilities
Work cross functionally with subject matter exports to identify and map required fields from source system to target system Transform data exported from the source system into defined templates using scripts and tools. Maintain conversion steps required for ERP cut-over Utilize import tools (DMT) from Epicor software to populate Epicor system Work with a larger ERP team to provide data for testing during functional testing and user acceptance testing Maintain master conversion plan for ERP cut-over activities related to data conversion
Requirements
Advanced Excel and/or Access skills Experience using python, bash, PowerShell, or other scripting languages to convert and process data Experience with ERP data (Customer Master, Vendor Master, Transactional records such as sales orders and purchase orders, etc) Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a client-focused approach to work Demonstrated success with time management and problem solving Epicor ERP experience is a plus
