Job Description: We’re looking for our FIRST Full-Time Software Engineer to help build, enhance, and scale Lexcar’s platform. You will work across both the frontend and backend, collaborating closely with our team to create seamless user experiences and AI-driven features. This role is ideal for someone with prior experience in software development who is ready to contribute to a fast-moving startup environment.
Key Responsibilities: – Develop and maintain both frontend and backend components of Lexcar’s platform.- Build and optimize responsive, user-friendly interfaces using modern frameworks.- Design and develop scalable APIs to integrate AI-driven functionalities.- Work with databases to manage vehicle history data efficiently.- Debug, troubleshoot, and improve platform performance and security.- Collaborate with the team to define new features and product improvements.
Qualifications: – Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.- 1-2+ years of experience in software development or prior internships.- Proficiency with frontend frameworks (React, Vue.js, or Angular).- Strong knowledge of backend development using Node.js, Python, or similar technologies.- Experience working with databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Firebase, etc.).- Understanding of RESTful APIs, authentication, and cloud services.- Passion for AI, automation, and emerging technologies.- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
