Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer with a strong background in Java and automation tools like Jenkins, Ansible, and Nexus. The ideal candidate will play a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, automating deployment processes, and ensuring the stability and security of our systems. Additional knowledge of Google Cloud Platform and Terraform is a plus.
This role is part of our SRE team, requiring support for afternoon shifts and occasional weekend work.
Key Responsibilities:Develop and Maintain CI/CD Pipelines: Design, implement, and manage continuous integration and deployment pipelines using Jenkins.Automation: Create and maintain automation scripts using Ansible to deploy applications across environments.Collaboration: Work closely with software development and support teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of applications.Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Actively monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure the stability of services.Documentation: Document all processes, including knowledge base and changes, for future reference.Continuous Learning: Stay updated with industry standards and be self-motivated to continuously improve and adapt processes.
Experience & Skills:Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role.Proficiency in Java.Extensive experience with Jenkins for CI/CD.Strong skills in Ansible automation.Familiarity with cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, etc.) is advantageous.Excellent communication and collaboration skills.Flexibility and adaptability in learning and supporting new processes.Nice to have: Basic understanding of application security development and implementation, including OAuth/OpenAM.
