Job Overview
Working with a European automotive company, they are actively searching for an external DevOps Engineer to join a team of 8 in Paris. They are looking for a junior profile to join on a 10-month contract basis.
Location: ParisLanguage: English and French Duration: 10 months (possible extension) Start Date: September 2024
Project: Deploy a web application using a Kubernetes cluster.
Your responsibilities:Cluster Health MonitoringCheck logs for the application and Kubernetes components to detect any issuesManage the deployments (scaling applications based on traffic patterns, perform rollback to stable the application) Ensure the Kubernetes resources are optimally allocated Regularly perform back up application data and configurationsEnsure the CI/CD pipeline is functioning correctly as well as automated deploymentsUpdate and maintain documentation & document any incidents or outages
Preferred Experience:Experience in monitoring CI/CD pipelines Knowledge of web technologies (HTTP/HTTPS, Rest APIS, JavaScript etc) Understanding of DockerUnderstanding of KubernetesJenkins and GitlabCI/GitHub knowledge
