We believe that Bitcoin and its values should be scaled to serve as the standard for decentralized finance. Achieving this vision requires scaling Bitcoin with zero-knowledge proofs, ensuring on-chain verifiability and data availability within the Bitcoin network.This approach makes Citrea the first scaling solution to enable more complex applications without compromising Bitcoin security and changing its consensus rules.

The RoleThe Ecosystem Growth role will play a critical role in developing the Citrea ecosystem. This role will work closely with key stakeholders in the ecosystem including infrastructure partners, founders, developers, liquidity providers, exchanges, and other stakeholder groups to drive the growth and adoption of Citrea, protocols and products built on Citrea.
ResponsibilitiesBuild new relationships and foster existing relationships with developer communities, founders, VCs, trading firms and communities, infra partners, and other relevant stakeholders for the Citrea ecosystemPlan and execute initiatives that drive the growth of Citrea ecosystemIdentify and triage any friction points and blockers for ecosystem stakeholdersDevelop inter-ecosystem collaboration and partnerships
Required SkillsAt least 3 years of full-time professional experience in business development, marketing, product development, venture capital, operator or early core contributor experience in cryptoExperience working with early-stage start-upsIntellectually curious – be able to demonstrate depth on research and understanding novel primitive designs, emerging technologies, marketing growth strategiesExisting network and relationships with developers, dev communities, and other relevant groups in cryptoFundraising experience is a plus
BonusKnowledge of the BTC Layer 2 ecosystemStrong social network on platforms like X and TG
