logoCryptoNext Security is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Embedded Systems Development Engineer to join our R&D team focused on cryptography and the development of security products. The ideal candidate will have a background in the field with a passion for pushing the boundaries of what is currently possible in the field.
Working within CryptoNext R&D team, the Embedded Systems Development Engineer will be responsible for the low-level software aspects of all products developed by CryptoNext, from the design phase through development and documentation to level 3 maintenance..
Principal duties and responsibilities
The Embedded Systems Development Engineer is responsible for:In collaboration with other team members, work on defining the product’s technical architectures, anticipating short and long-term technical developments;Cyber-hardening of embedded environments;Bare-metal development within microcontrollers;Development of lower layers (boot, drivers, etc.), taking into account, if necessary, the constraints of the embedded environment;Development and execution of associated unit tests;Production of documentation for security certifications (FIPS, Common Criteria, etc.);Technology and innovation watch in embedded systems;Mastery of development environments for embedded systems.
Knowledge, skills, abilities, degree
Education: Engineering degree or equivalent (Computer Science, Cybersecurity) with successful experience in the field.Interpersonal skills: Ability to analyze and synthesize, multidisciplinary teamwork, autonomy, rigor, innovation, ability to learn.Level of English: Fluent, enabling you to communicate, document your work and make presentations in this language.Education: Engineering Degree or equivalent (Computer Science, Cybersecurity)Experience: at least 3 years of experience in low-level software development.Technical skills: C language, bare-metal development, Linux systemLanguage: excellent English communication skills< (both written and spoken).Interpersonal skills: strong analytical and problem-solving abilities; effective planning and organizational skills; ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. Terms of employmentBased in Paris, hybrid work.Full time positionCDI (Contrat à Durée Indéterminée), under French Law.Salary competitive and commensurate with experience.
