An opportunity has arisen for a Diagnostic Application Lead to join the Aftermarket department in a rapidly expanding and exciting work environment.

About The Role

To lead the development the Fortescue ZERO Vehicle Diagnostic System for Global Aftermarket by working collaboratively with both internal and external stakeholders. The role will focus on covering
aspects of powertrain diagnostics, electrification diagnostics and thermal diagnostics over multiple programs delivering into multiple markets.

What You Will Do

To analyse and define requirements for Product Diagnostic Tooling & Software based on customer specification, supplier software and homologation requirementsTo develop the FZERO Diagnostic
System in windows using C# with the Indigo Software Development Kit (Indigo SDK)To develop the diagnostic sequences/scripts using the Vector Diagnostic Scripting (VDS) library in C#.To create the Web Interface for the diagnostic
repositoryTo create and maintain the DB/Cloud diagnostic repositoryTo create and maintain the User Interface of the Diagnostic ToolDeliver and develop core diagnostics for FZERO power system, electrification and thermal
diagnostics, to include aspects such as repair & maintenance procedures and ECU software updatesTo support the architectural requirements for cloud storage procedures/protocols.To lead the maintenance and upgrades of
the defined systems.

About You

BS Degree or Higher in Computer Science or related technical field required. Other recognised engineering qualifications combined with relevant significant experience will be
considered.Desirable C/C++, CAPL, CANdela Studio, ODX Studio, Windows forms, SQL.UI design experience using HTML, CSS and JavaScript is desirable.Experience of working and configuring Vector Indigo Suite is desirableExperience
with working UDS protocol and Vehicle Cyber Security Standards. Experience with managed cloud data services (Snowflakes/Azure/Big Query) is desirable.Working with engineers, tech authors & multiple stakeholdersWork autonomously
and prioritise your workload to achieve the business targets.Experience of developing, implementing, and managing solutions in an OEM/Tier 1 organisation is advantageous.Experience with Cloud Diagnostics & Over-The-Air
(OTA) applications is advantageous. Be able to confidentially communicate and present to stakeholders from the workshop to the customers.
