Join our client in New York City, as a Finance Associate, where you will play a key role in managing financial operations, including capital calls, financial reporting, and fund administration. This hybrid position involves handling complex finance tasks and ensuring accurate financial management across various fund structures.
Compensation: $110,000 – $130,000/year + bonusLocation: New York, NYSchedule: Monday to Friday (Hybrid)
Responsibilities as the Finance Associate:
Capital Calls & Distributions: Review capital calls, distributions, and carry waterfalls.Financial Reporting: Prepare quarterly financial statements and reports.Fund Administration: Direct the fund administrator and manage treasury functions.Analysis: Conduct performance calculations and manage cash movements.Ad Hoc Requests: Handle investor and deal team requests as needed.
Qualifications for the Finance Associate:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA highly preferred but not required).Experience: 2-5 years of experience in Public or Private Accounting/Finance.Skills: Strong analytical and accounting skills, exceptional communication, and a high level of professionalism.Attributes: Team-oriented, highly motivated, with a strong work ethic and attention to detail.
