Responsibilities:Oversee the management and optimization of accounting tools, including a global financial system and other subsidiary-specific platforms, ensuring accurate and effective processes.Support the development and oversight of connections between financial systems and third-party applications to improve workflows and data accuracy.Partner with teams across departments to identify system needs, implement solutions, and ensure smooth collaboration between platforms.Explore opportunities to enhance and automate financial operations by utilizing system features and capabilities.Contribute to the planning, execution, and monitoring of system implementation and integration projects, ensuring timely and efficient delivery.Conduct regular checks and audits to maintain the accuracy and reliability of financial data across integrated systems.Provide guidance and training to finance teams on system functionalities, best practices, and updates.Address and resolve system or integration issues by collaborating with internal stakeholders and external vendors as required.Ensure financial platforms align with regulatory, policy, and security requirements.Maintain comprehensive records and documentation for system configurations, workflows, and integrations.Manage relationships with software providers to ensure they meet performance expectations and service standards.
Requirements:Over 5 years of experience managing financial systems, including expertise with a cloud-based ERP platform. Familiarity with building system integrations is highly valued.Deep knowledge of ERP platforms, workflow automation tools, and integrations; proficiency in data query tools such as SQL is an added advantage.Demonstrated ability to lead or support complex integration initiatives with strong organizational and project management skills.Comprehensive understanding of financial practices and principles, with hands-on experience in reporting and data analysis.Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a track record of effectively identifying and resolving system challenges.Strong communication and collaboration skills, capable of working effectively across teams and explaining technical details to non-technical audiences.Holds a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or a related discipline.Certifications in ERP systems, including foundational qualifications, with advanced credentials considered an asset.
