In Norconsulting we are currently looking for a QA Tester to join us in India in a freelancer opportunity for a major Banking organization.
Duration: long termLocation: Chennai, IndiaRate: 110 USD/day (around 2400 USD per month)Type of assignment: Full-time (8h/day, Monday to Friday)Years of experience: 5+
SKILLS / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, or Engineering• Role Specific Experience: 5+ years of QA, Test, and development experience• Extensive experience in financial technology and Banking & Financial domain experience, along with knowledge of investment banking, Portfolio accounting systems, and trading application• Ability to use collaborative skills to work with application managers, database administrators, system administrators, and users• Ability to use excellent listening and communication skills in order to surface issues related to the World Bank’s unique culture and organizational constraints that could impact how designed procedures work in practice• High level of maturity to guide and select procedures that add value and comply with CMMI requirements• Expert understanding of technology environment, such as Oracle development environment, Unix, Java, WSAD, Web Sphere, and Oracle application server Desired Skills/Abilities (not required but a plus):• Experience with software test suites like Mercury, QTP, Test Director, Winrunner, etc.
