Compensation: $70.02-$93.49/Hour
Duration: 12 month contract

Job Description: As an engineer on this team, you will be rapidly iterating on and developing cutting edge internal tools for a highly efficient analyst team. You will be part of a small, agile team on a product that evolves fast for hyperspecialized use cases.You have a curiosity about the way your work is used by a small group of dedicated power users and get satisfaction from improving their experience. You are excited to innovate and push the limits of the Elixir programming language.
This role reports to a software engineering manager of a platform and tooling team.Responsibilities: Implement major features in a web application with Phoenix LiveView in ElixirWork tightly with analysts to respond to feature requests and be available to hammer out features and stomp bugsCollaborate with external teams to integrate new data sourcesSupport the creation of a platform for analysts to host and share insightsConsistent availability to work hours between 10AM – 6PM PST with some additional flexibilityQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalentStrong expertise in full stack web developmentStrong expertise in Elixir and familiarity with Phoenix LiveviewProficient in working with handling data from API endpoints, GraphQL, MySQL and NoSQLExperience working off of logging and metrics to identify and fix bugs in live servicesExperience working on internal tools or applications with an emphasis on intuitive user experienceDistinguish Yourself with…Experience working with cloud infrastructure in AWSExperience designing, implementing and maintaining microservices in languages such as GoLangExperience working within or in collaboration with analyst teams that deal with fraud investigation or anomaly detectionExperience working in the games industryExperience supporting a team that uses Livebooks for data analysisOur benefits package includes:Comprehensive medical benefitsCompetitive pay401(k) retirement plan…and much more!
