Zaddy Solutions is performing a search on behalf of a client located in Austin, TX. This is a direct-hire, full-time, remote position.
Position Summary:As a Python Developer, you will be instrumental in building and maintaining both internal and customer-facing applications. You’ll leverage your expertise in Python, Linux, and databases to create robust, high-performance solutions. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you’ll tackle complex challenges, optimize existing systems, and ensure the reliability of our critical applications.
Key Responsibilities:Develop and Deploy Scalable Applications: Design, develop, and maintain high-performance Python applications and services that meet evolving business needs.Create Seamless Integrations: Build custom integrations to connect diverse systems, streamline workflows, and enhance data flow.Collaborate and Innovate: Work closely with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver innovative solutions.Optimize and Troubleshoot: Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, debug complex issues, and ensure system reliability.Stay Ahead of the Curve: Continuously learn and apply the latest Python development trends and best practices.Contribute to Code Quality: Participate in code reviews, maintain version control, and adhere to software development best practices.
Qualifications:Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field with 2-5 years of hands-on Python development experience, including shell scripting and Linux environments.Python Expertise: Strong proficiency in Python 3.x and experience with relevant frameworks (e.g., Flask, Gunicorn).Database Proficiency: Familiarity with both SQL and NoSQL databases and RESTful API design.Networking Fundamentals: Solid understanding of network infrastructures and protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, HTTP).Linux Mastery: Expertise in Linux environments, including configuration, management, and command-line usage.Software Development Best Practices: Solid understanding of version control (Git) and software development methodologies.Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a proactive and independent approach.Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.Positive Attitude: Attention to detail, a positive mindset, and the ability to clearly communicate progress.
Preferred Skills:Experience with Linux System Administration.Basic knowledge of C/C++.Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) or containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
Bonus Skills:Proficiency in C/C++, C#, or other statically typed languages.Experience in the Telecommunications industry or network technologies.Advanced Knowledge of network protocols.
