The RoleWe are looking for an experienced Full Stack Developer to join our Financial Lines division in London. This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of the entire development process, from gathering requirements to delivering high-quality software solutions. You will work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, collaborating with business stakeholders to develop and maintain applications hosted in Azure. This is a great opportunity to develop a diverse skill set, engage with senior management and clients, and contribute to the growth of our technology offering.
What You’ll Be DoingEngage with business teams to gather and define requirements for new features and enhancementsDesign, develop, and maintain web applications hosted in AzureOwn the full development lifecycle, from requirement analysis to deploymentPerform regular maintenance and updates (approximately 10% of the role)Ensure high code quality, scalability, and performance of applicationsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutionsUtilize Python when required for specific tasks (nice to have)Stay updated with the latest technologies and industry trendsWork flexibly in a hybrid environmentContribute to the ongoing improvement of our development processes
Who We’re Looking ForStrong experience with cloud application hosting (Azure)Proficient in full stack development, including front-end and back-end (SQL Server)Experience with Python is a plusExperience with DockerExcellent communication skills to collaborate with business stakeholdersAbility to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectivelyPrevious experience in the insurance industry is desirable but not essentialAdaptability to work in a fast-paced and evolving environment
QualificationsRelevant experience in Full Stack DevelopmentStrong knowledge of cloud-based hosting solutions (Azure)Experience with SQL Server and related database managementKnowledge of Python and Docker is beneficialAbility to translate business needs into technical solutionsFlexibility to work in a hybrid environment
