SafeLease is looking for a highly motivated Full Stack Engineer to help lay our technical foundation.
About The Role
This is a high visibility role providing the opportunity to work directly with the founding team and principal engineer. SafeLease utilizes proprietary data and the latest technologies to create financial success for our partners. As one of the first 50 teammates, your work will have an outsized influence on future developers, the codebase, and company culture. You must be hands-on with the code and excited about the challenge of building with a high-performance team.
This is an in-office role in our downtown Austin, Texas office. There will be opportunities for this position to have hybrid work in the future.
We expect engineers on our team to thrive in a rapidly changing environment, take initiative and bring ideas to the table, and help achieve quick wins as we bring new products to market.
About You
2+ years of experience in a full-stack software development roleProfessional competency with Node, React, AWS, API integrations, Linux, web app servers (WebLogic, WebSphere, JBoss, Tomcat, etc.), and revision control systems (Git)Experience shipping code in an incredibly fast-paced, agile environmentCross-functional work with Support, Product, to scope and plan patches and maintenance releasesExperience in the development and integration of REST-based web services utilizing JSON data representationsExperience in the development and maintenance of unit tests using a testing framework, such as TestNG and JUnit, is highly desirableProven ability to work with other software development engineers for problem reproduction and resolutionExcellent written and verbal communications skillsExperience with the monitoring/management/deployment is highly desirable
