Job Overview

We are PastaHR, a fast-growing startup based in Zurich and help companies to hire deskless workers through chat (e.g. nurses, electricians, truck drivers, retail personnel, and thousands of other jobs). 六‍六‍‍⚕️六‍
We are a Top 100 Swiss Startup and work with well-known enterprise customers in healthcare, retail, logistics, building services, etc. such as Coop, Siemens, Meier Tobler, Universitätsklinik Balgrist or Autogrill.
As a Fullstack Engineer you’ll join our team in the earliest days, have a lot of impact/responsibility from day one, learn a ton and have a lot of fun!
Tasks

As a Fullstack Software Engineer, you’ll join PastaHR in its earliest days and take on significant responsibility from day one.
You’ll work alongside a small, highly experienced team with backgrounds from some of Europe’s leading startups.
Your role is not clearly defined. You will work across the stack on a variety of different projects and with state-of-the-art technologies (from shadcn to the newest LLMs).
You will not just work down a list of weekly tasks but will contribute much further than just code! You will be part of the design process by gathering requirements, planning and ideating from the start of a project.
You will ship high quality work very fast and see the impact of your work from day one.

Requirements

Excellent coding skills in TypeScript and NodeJS. Ideally, some experience with React and/or Next.js.
You should be an expert at leveraging AI tools like Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or similar.
Experience with both relational and NoSQL database technologies.
A creative, collaborative, and product-focused mindset and a flair for beautiful software. 
The depth and quality of your experience matter more to us than the duration. However, you should have a minimum of two years of professional development experience.
