Job Overview
We are seeking a resourceful and driven HR Generalist to join our client and take ownership of a wide range of HR functions. In this role, you’ll be instrumental in building foundational HR processes, supporting employees across multiple states, and helping foster a positive and productive workplace. If you thrive in dynamic environments and enjoy creating systems from the ground up, this role is for you!Key Responsibilities:Process biweekly payroll for multistate employees with accuracy and timeliness.Oversee recruitment efforts, including job postings, screening, and interview coordination.Manage employee records, performance reviews, and disciplinary actions.Lead the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into the company.Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and systems to meet organizational needs.Collaborate with management to address employee relations and support business goals.What You’ll Bring:A hands-on approach and readiness to build HR processes from the ground up.Adaptability and resilience in a challenging environment, including navigating software implementation and organizational changes.Ability to wear multiple hats and take on diverse tasks to support the team.Strong organizational and communication skills to build trust and foster collaboration.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).3+ years of HR experience, preferably in a generalist role.Proven experience in payroll processing, recruitment, and employee relations.Familiarity with safety programs is highly desirable.Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work with employees at all levels.Proficiency in HRIS systems, payroll software, and Microsoft Office Suite.Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with minimal supervision.
