As a BlueRock Junior Software Development Engineer in Test you will:

Learn the internals of the BlueRock hypervisor and security features of the product and ramp up quicklyDevelop test cases and write test programs to test OS functionality and performanceBuild guest OS images and OS security tools from sourcesBuild custom tools and kernel driver programs to test product security features and other componentsTest product features with different Linux Distros and Container Runtimes Write automated regression tests in Python and integrate to PyTest frameworkIdentify functional/performance issues and report them in internal system with all required artifactsParticipate in technical discussion with teams in Germany and the US

You could be a great fit for this role if you have: (Must Haves)

BE/BTECH/M.TECH (CS/ECE/IS/EEE)1 to 3 years’ experience Strong in Linux internalsStrong in virtualization conceptsFamiliar with writing test plans and different test methodologiesFamiliar with writing scripts in Shell and PythonExperience in writing automated tests in PyTest frameworkFamiliarity with OS functional and benchmarking test toolsExperience in developing test tools in C/C++ to test OS functionality and performanceFamiliar with Linux Containers and container orchestration technologiesFamiliar with testing in AWS, Azure, GKE Cloud environment. Familiar with GRUB, PXE, UEFI and other boot infrastructureGood problem analysis and debugging skills. Open minded with excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and inter-cultural awareness

Nice to have:

Familiar with tools like gcc/clang, gdb, objdumpFamiliar with different linux distributions, building custom kernelsFamiliar with Linux security concepts like LSM, SELinux, AppArmor
