Position OverviewWe are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Junior Desktop Support Engineer to join our client in Frankfurt. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support, assisting with IT infrastructure maintenance, and ensuring the smooth operation of our IT systems. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or individuals with limited experience to grow their skills in a supportive and fast-paced environment
.Key Responsibilities
Technical SupportProvide first-level support to end-users for hardware, software, and network-related issuesRespond to support tickets and resolve issues in a timely mannerAssist in the setup and configuration of new hardware and software
System MaintenancePerform routine maintenance and updates on IT systems and infrastructurMonitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as they arisAssist in maintaining inventory of IT assets, including hardware and software license
Network AdministrationSupport the implementation and maintenance of network infrastructureAssist with network troubleshooting and ensure network security protocols are followedParticipate in network configuration and optimization project
Documentation and ReportingMaintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of IT systems, procedures, and policyGenerate regular reports on IT activities and system performanceContribute to the development of user guides and training material
Collaboration and TrainingWork closely with senior IT staff to support ongoing projects and initiativeParticipate in training sessions to enhance technical skills and knowledgeProvide basic training and support to end-users on IT systems and application
Qualifications0-2 years of experience in an IT support role or similar positionInternship experience in an IT environment is a plusFluency in English & GermanValid work visa for Germany

Technical SkillsBasic understanding of computer hardware, software, and networking principlesFamiliarity with Windows and/or macOS operating systemsKnowledge of basic network troubleshooting techniqueUnderstanding of cybersecurity principles and best practice
