Role•Full stack Java developer to join a small development team•Working with policing customers to design, build and support bespoke products•Ownership and the opportunity to see full lifecycle of projects•Opportunity to travel to customers throughout UK and abroad•Take responsibility for delivery of software and resolution of issues•Liaise and build relationships with customers•Contribute to all stages of software development lifecycle•Analyse user-requirements to define business objectives•Develop technical designs for application development•Maintain applications that are high-volume and low-latency•Test software and identify and resolve any technical issues arising•Prepare and produce releases of software components•Support continuous improvement, investigating alternatives and technologies, and presenting for architectural review
