Job Overview

logoWe are seeking a Junior Python Developer with experience in API Development and ETL/ELT to join a project for our Client, a leading specialty corporate insurer and reinsurer.

The Client will be implementing a new Pricing Platform, and the person in this position will be responsible for creating 3rd party integrations between the new Platform and the Client’s already existing toolset.

Responsibilities

Design and develop databasesConduct model calculations using PythonManage version control and release schedulesEngage in the creation of documentation and provision of trainingOptimize performance of applicationsGather and analyze user feedbackImplement continuous integration and deployment processesDevelop and scope integration with third-party systems through custom API creation

Requirements

At least 1 year of commercial experience in PythonProficiency in API development and microservicesBackground in SQL, specifically MS SQLFamiliarity with data integration platforms, including ETL/ELT toolsCapability to comprehend VBA scripts and transition them to PythonFluent English communication skills at a B2+ level

Nice to have

Experience with Azure Data FactoryUnderstanding of Snowflake database technology
