We are seeking a skilled and motivated SharePoint 365 and React Developer to join our team at Miller Johnson. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining our SharePoint 365 intranet site, developing, and integrating React applications into the SharePoint 365 environment, and creating APIs to ensure seamless integration across our systems. This role requires a strong understanding of SharePoint, React, and API development, along with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain the SharePoint 365 intranet site, including customizing pages, lists, libraries, and workflows to meet organizational needs.Implement and manage SharePoint permissions and security settings, and troubleshoot and resolve SharePoint-related issues.Develop and maintain React applications to enhance user experience and functionality, collaborating with UI/UX designers to implement responsive and user-friendly interfaces.Optimize React applications for maximum performance and scalability.Design and develop APIs to integrate various systems and applications within the organization, ensuring they are secure, efficient, and well-documented.Work with backend developers to integrate APIs with existing systems.Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, design, and business units, to gather requirements and deliver solutions.Provide technical support and training to end-users as needed while staying up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure the continuous improvement of our systems.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years as a Software/SharePoint developerBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related fieldProven experience in SharePoint 365 development and administrationStrong proficiency in React.js and related libraries/frameworksExperience with API development and integration (RESTful APIs, GraphQL, etc.)Familiarity with backend technologies (e.g., Node.js, .NET, SQL) is a plusExcellent problem-solving skills and attention to detailEffective communication and collaboration skillsAbility to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneouslyExperience with Microsoft Power Platform (PowerApps, Power Automate)Knowledge of cloud services (Azure, AWS)Understanding of Agile development methodologies
