Department purpose

A&O Shearman has a market-leading leveraged finance practice (comprising an integrated high yield bonds and loans practice), which operates globally.

Our practice is supported by pre-eminent Private Equity, Equity Capital Markets, Debt Capital Markets, Securitisation and Restructuring teams. This collective expertise combined with in-depth sector insights, makes us one of very few firms with the ability to advise on complex cross-border leveraged finance transactions across the full spectrum of the capital structure, as well as on all types of crossover and emerging markets loan and bond transactions.

Role And Responsibilities

Maintaining and curating the Leveraged Finance Homepage our entry point for all leveraged finance market knowledge globallyMaintaining and curating our global leveraged finance data platform and related docs bank including following up with team members to ensure all key documents are included in a timely manner and data is accurateLiaising with various IT development teams on the maintenance and evolution of market intelligence and legal resourcesMaintaining and developing various internal tracking systems for knowledge resources including compiling periodic reports on team queriesBackground research for team market intelligence briefings to be sent to the global teamOther general administrative duties in relation to market intelligence including liaising with the PA team on training sessions to ensure they are recorded and disseminated appropriatelyWorking with the team towards building and maintaining robust, searchable market intelligence resourcesLiaising with colleagues throughout the A&O Shearman network (particularly in Europe, Asia and the US) where required to share market intelligence, under the direction of the market intelligence team
