Job Overview
The Explore Group are looking to secure skilled Backend Developer to work on a finance based web app. You’ll build APIs and services, optimize performance, and ensure a seamless user experience. Key technologies include Kotlin, PostgreSQL, and Docker (AWS is a plus).
Key Responsibilities:Develop RESTful APIs and backend services using KotlinOptimize for performance, scalability, and reliabilityWrite clean, maintainable code and participate in code reviewsStay current with backend technologies and best practicesRequirements:Proficiency in Kotlin, PostgreSQL, JPA, and migrationsExperience with Docker, Kubernetes, and basic AWSFamiliarity with JavaScript, React, and CI/CD pipelinesExperience with Git and version controlPreferred:Knowledge of React, SCSS, Typescript, and frontend testingPerformance testing and optimizationSoft Skills:Strong communication and problem-solving skillsIndependent and team-oriented work style
