Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesCoordinate, Secure and Organize Land Acquisition LeadsReceive and provide an initial response plan for all new leads from outside sourcesPerform Title and municipal research and initial “cold call” inquiry for potential land leadsProvide initial meetings with seller and/or seller’s representativeProvide all pertinent property description information, seller demands, terms, conditions and contact information to managementPrepare letters of intentMaintain close relationships with land developers, brokers and landownersUnderwrite and analyze the financial aspects of each development opportunityCommunicate regularly with city officialsNegotiate purchase contracts with sellersConduct all business in a professional and ethical manner to serve customers and increase the goodwill and profit of the companyAble to travel overnight
Education and/or Experience Fifth year college or university certificateFour to six years’ related experience and/or trainingAbility to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written oral form or via DRH applicationsProficiency with MS Office and email
Preferred QualificationsStrong written and oral communication skillsAbility to multi-task and attention to detail
