About The Role

This is a senior role within ARO’s Internal IT team, where you will be key to the delivery of our IT platform and roadmap
for the ARO Group. We are looking for an all-rounder who is passionate about helping and supporting their colleagues, along with the continued development of ARO IT into a world class platform.

You will work closely with the IT Manager and complement each other’s skills and experience to help ensure platform operation, and drive continuous improvement for our Internal IT offering

Along with providing senior level IT support, you will contribute to initiatives aimed at improving operational efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and scalability, ensuring IT remains a key enabler of business growth.
You will also contribute to the IT roadmap, by identifying emerging technologies and opportunities for innovation across the ARO IT Platform.

You will be comfortable working directly with colleagues at all levels of the business and across all of our sites. You will be a senior member of the team, and you will help mould a successful, high performing IT team.

This role offers flexibility with the option for hybrid working, allowing you to balance remote work with on-site collaboration. Occasional travel may be required between our various locations across the UK, to ensure
strong alignment with all business units and maintain on-the-ground visibility for internal IT.

Please note that this is a Hybrid role with onsite requirement 2 -3 days a week. You must be able to commute to the office
and have your own transport.

What You’ll Do

Act as a deputy for the IT Manager as appropriateHelp to develop and deliver the IT platform roadmapContribute to the IT platform roadmap development, with a
focus on platform architectureWork closely with the IT Manager and complement each other’s skills and experience to help drive continuous improvement for our Internal IT offeringSupport the development of your IT colleagues
by providing expert knowledge, helping them resolve support cases, and leading IT projectsBe a subject matter expert for ARO’s IT platform architecture, and participate in group initiatives, including integration activityCollaborate
closely with subject matter experts for core ARO applications to ensure operational effectiveness, and plans are alignedBuild positive relationships throughout the Group and maintain high levels of communication with key
stakeholders and colleaguesHelp to maintain a reliable, high-performing IT platform with sustained uptime for critical services including: Administering, deploying and configuring Microsoft Windows Server including Active
Directory and Group Policy creation Administering, deploying and configuring Microsoft Exchange Server Deliver proactive system maintenance, and system hygieneProvide IT support to ARO users, efficiently resolving incidents
and requests allocated to youEnsure you efficiently resolve incidents and requests allocated to youProvide technical support to your team members and colleagues both remotely or on-site as requiredProvide a great end-user
experienceYou will contribute to achieving team KPI’s through platform improvements, efficient support and providing a good user experience:Identify and implement process improvements that drive ARO IT platform innovationHelp
consistency and best practice by maintaining documentation, and knowledge sharing within the teamComplete IT tasks in support of security and compliance standards including ISO 27001Participate in the reduction of vulnerabilities,

Requirements

What we are looking for?

Essential

Minimum of 5 years experience in IT infrastructure and networkingGood understanding of MS licensingStrong technical skills in Windows Server, Active Directory, Exchange, Hyper-V and networking technologiesExperience
with cloud computing platforms, such as Azure or AWSExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issuesStrong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability
to work collaboratively with othersAbility to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environmentExperience working in an ITIL-based environment is preferredFull and valid UK driver’s licenseServer Operating
Systems including up to Microsoft Server 2022Server Virtualisation Environments such as Microsoft Azure, Hyper-VServer Hardware configuration and recommendationLAN and WAN switching configuration and trouble shootingSignificant
