Linux Platform Engineer – RedHat/Solaris – Automation – Ansible AWX – Python/Bash – Project focussedHybrid working, 3 days office – LondonLeading financial services client is looking for a Linux Platform Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis. There is a strong drive for automation, the successful candidate will need to be passionate about this and have strong experience in this area. The team is responsible for ensuring that all project workloads are delivered to plan. You will take part in the team rota including on-call and occasional weekend working.Skills and Experience required: In-depth experience with RedHat and Solaris (kernel tuning)Ansible and AWXREST API integrationRedHat SatellitePython, Perl and Bash scriptingDevOps mentality, CI/CD pipelines and other automation conceptsSecurity hardening principles in line with CIS industry benchmarksClustering and high-availability technologiesReplication and disaster recoveryData security governance and regulations knowledge (GDPR and SOX)If this is of interest and you have the required skills, please submit your CV over for immediate consideration.
